Mission

Christian Shelter is a temporary, emergency shelter housing any person in need.  Through the shelter, God provides safe, temporary housing and nutritious meals.

While a warm bed and a hot meal are the most immediate needs the Shelter satisfies, they are not the most important.  The love of God ministered through a caring staff member, who is willing to listen and prepared to point hurting people to resources of employment, counseling, and permanent housing, offer the possibility of a more lasting change.

Even more important, however, is the opportunity to receive the life-changing power of Jesus Christ offered to Shelter guests daily through evening devotions and Sunday worship.
